Enjoy the magical beauty of a 50-ft. tall waterfall, especially captivating after a good rain. The trail is relatively easy with no major steep sections, making it ideal for all age groups from beginners to intermediate hikers. Furry friends are welcome, remember to keep them on a leash.

Located one mile north of Looking Glass Falls on U.S. 276, Moore Cove Falls does not have prominent signs on the highway, Stop by The Hub for full logistics!

Whether you’re an avid hiker or looking for a fun family activity and don’t need an all day outing, the Slick Rock Falls Trail is an excellent choice. You can reach the spectacular waterfalls and then the base of Looking Glass Rock after only a short trek making it perfect for little explorers. Being just under 1 mile one-way, and conveniently located near The Hub, this hike is an exceptional outdoor experience for those who don’t need an all day outing.

The ideal months to visit are from March through November, offering a nice window for your adventures. If you’re planning to bring your dog along, just remember to keep them on a leash. Do take care to keep away from the slippery rocks at the top of the falls as they are known to be dangerous.
