Folks in the Forest Women's Bikepacking Overnighter

April 27th 2024 - April 28th 2024 | 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Folks in the Forest is a recurring series all about getting Folks in the Forest in new and different ways. The Women’s Bikepacking Weekend serves as a friendly and approachable bikepacking overnighter for women of all experience levels and backgrounds to get out in the woods together.

Friday April 26th is a pre-ride social with demos and a Q&A session. This is a great opportunity to meet the ladies we’ll be riding with, work out any kinks in your set-up, pick up rental bags or bikes, and see a couple different bikepacking set ups. Registration isn't required for the Q&A session, so just drop in if you'd like to join us!

Saturday April 27th, we will meet at The Hub to pack up our bikes and roll into the forest! Overnight parking will be available in the upper gravel lot. We recommend arriving by 11am to pack your bags and double check your set up. Feel free to grab coffee from The Velvet Cup or any last minute snacks and gear from The Hub. Wheels roll at 12pm.

**Route into the forest TBD.**

Campsite will be at the Upper Cove Creek group site. The site has a pit toilet, fire ring, and picnic tables. The Hub will be providing firewood, beers and NA bevvies, and some small snacks. Riders are responsible for carrying their own clothing (bring layers!), camping gear, food and water.

Sunday April 29th, we will make breakfast and coffee together in the morning and then ride out around 11am. Bring snacks for the ride out!

Please read through the FAQ's for more more details about this event! And if you have any further questions, you can reach out to KJ via!
