In the Spring we can experience a wide-range of weather here in the Southern Appalachians.  The good news is when the weather is good, its really good!  We are out of the freeze thaw and the trees are helping drink up excess groundwater after rains.  

 Check the weather before you come and be prepared for a bit of anything.  It's not out of the question to have a 60 degree day with a thunderstorm and snow in higher elevations.
