Land-of-Sky Regional Council has been awarded a grant from NCDOT in August 2011 to undertake a Regional Bike Plan study for the following seven counties: Buncombe, Haywood, Henderson, Jackson, Madison, Swain and Transylvania.
There is a survey at the link below regarding the regional bike planning process that the Land-of-Sky Regional Council is doing. This will be a biking action plan for seven western NC counties. Please take a few minutes and provide input on these two initiatives.
***Be sure to mention that a Rail to Trail connecting Brevard and Hendersonville would be a great component of a regional plan. More information and a link to the survey here: http://www.fbrmpo.org
